Day 1
Arrival in Tanzania: Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation.

Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Nestled at the base of Mount Meru, it is the main gateway to Tanzania’s most famous national parks and offers a blend of urban life and natural beauty.

Enjoy a leisure day to recover from your journey.
Meet Sam for a detailed safari briefing.
Later, explore the city, visit local markets, and enjoy lunch in Arusha.

Arusha: Lake Manyara, Karatu

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

  • Famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and large baboon populations.

After breakfast at 7:30 AM, drive to Ndutu.
Enjoy wildlife viewing en route.

  • Located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem.
  • Best known for the Great Migration calving season (Dec–March).

High concentration of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Ndutu: Full Game Drives

Spend three days exploring Ndutu with full game drives.
Witness abundant wildlife, including migrating herds and predator activity across open plains.

Ndutu: Ngorongoro Crater, Karatu

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 4 hours).
Enjoy a game drive in the crater, then continue to Karatu for overnight.

  • Home to the Big Five, including endangered black rhinos.

Karatu: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive, then proceed to your lodge.

Today is a rest day to relax and reflect on your safari experience.
Optional activities in Arusha can be arranged if desired.

Arusha to Longido

Depart at 8:30 AM for Longido.

  • A peaceful area near the Kenya border.
  • Rich in Maasai culture and traditions.
  • Offers cultural tours, village visits, and scenic views of Mount Longido.

Spend two days engaging in cultural experiences and exploring the area.

Longido, Arusha

After breakfast, return to Arusha for relaxation and overnight.

Departure

A day to reflect, connect, and conclude your journey.

On your final day:

  • Reflect on your safari experience
  • Option to visit a local community center or cultural site on your preference
  • Transfer to the airport for departure

You may continue onward travel to destinations such as Zanzibar or return home.
