Day 1
Arrival in Tanzania: Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel.

Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Nestled at the base of Mount Meru, it is the main gateway to Tanzania’s most famous national parks and offers a blend of urban life and natural beauty.

Arusha: Rest & City Exploration

Enjoy a relaxing day. Meet Sam for a safari briefing, followed by lunch and optional exploration of Arusha town.

Day 3 – 4
Arusha to Longido

Depart at 8:30 AM for Longido.

Longido

Longido is a quiet, scenic area near the Kenya border, famous for its Maasai culture and traditional lifestyle. Visitors can enjoy cultural experiences, village visits, and views of Mount Longido.

Day 5
Longido to Lake Manyara & Karatu

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Drive to the Central Serengeti after breakfast.

Central Serengeti

The Central Serengeti (Seronera area) is the heart of the park and one of the best places for year-round wildlife viewing, especially predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Serengeti: Full Game Drives

Enjoy full-day game drives in the Central Serengeti, exploring its vast plains and abundant wildlife.

Day 7 – 9
Day 10
Serengeti: Ngorongoro Crater, Karatu

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 4 hours).
Enjoy a game drive in the crater, then continue to Karatu for overnight.

  • A UNESCO World Heritage Site and volcanic caldera.
  • Home to the Big Five, including endangered black rhinos.

Karatu to Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park.

About Tarangire National Park

Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations along the Tarangire River. It offers a quieter safari experience compared to Serengeti.

Tarangire: Full Game Drive

Enjoy a full day exploring Tarangire’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.

Tarangire to Arusha

Morning game drive, then return to Arusha for relaxation.

Departure

A day to reflect, connect, and conclude your journey.

On your final day:

  • Reflect on your safari experience
  • Option to visit a local community center or cultural site on your preference
  • Transfer to the airport for departure
  • You may continue onward travel to destinations such as Zanzibar or return home.
